Vocation Work and Visits
I haven't died or left the office--I have just been very busy with a number of things. First among them is the Vocation Office. It is and has been wonderfully demanding the past few weeks. There is nothing that makes a Vocation Director happier than lots of contacts and visits with prospectives. So I have been traveling and visiting and have a few more trips planned before the end of the year. Also, we have added an extra Come and See weekend this month to relieve the load from the September and November weekends.
Second, I have been named a Trustee for Roger Bacon, our high school in Cincinnati. I'm not too sure what that is going to entail, but I do know that I am chair of the Mission Enhancement Committee and will be getting busy with that next week.
Third, our province will be conducting a Chapter in May 2011 and I am the Executive Secretary for that. So the Chapter Planning Committee is revving up for that.
So, lots of vocation work and planning. That's what my life is all about these days--and I am enjoying all of it. :-)And, of course, this weekend we celebrate the Solemnity of Saint Francis so there is some relaxing to do as well. More on that later.
