Friar Don Miller. OFM
I am a Franciscan priest. I spent my early years of ministry in New Mexico working among the Pueblo Native Americans and the Hispanics. In 1978 I began my years in academics working as a chaplain, faculty member, and administrator at various universities in the southwest and the midwest. I taught various course in theology, especially in my area of specialty which is moral theology. I have been the Vocation Director for the Province of Saint John the Baptist since 2003.

Back from Retreat; Preparing for a "Come and See"

Group this weekend, September 3-5, eight young men participated in a Come and See weekend at Saint Anthony Friary in Cincinnati OH. The eleven Friars and six Postulants who live at the Friary welcomed the guests and two of our Temporary Professed Friars along with the two Vocation Directors swelling the community to 29 men for the weekend. This was the first of three such weekends scheduled for the fall of this academic year.

The participants were (l. to r.) Christopher Patterson from Cincinnati, OH; Matt Sharick from Metamora, IL; Lazaro Ramos attending the University of Illinois at Champaign, IL; Shane Jensen from Georgetown, KY; John Poston from Troy, MI; Zachary Bischler from Henry, IL; Joseph Major from Willimantic, CT; and Nickolas Thorvaldsen fro Loveland, OH.

Please pray for these men's continuing discernment of their vocational call.

Back from Retreat; Preparing for a "Come and See"
