Friar Don Miller. OFM
I am a Franciscan priest. I spent my early years of ministry in New Mexico working among the Pueblo Native Americans and the Hispanics. In 1978 I began my years in academics working as a chaplain, faculty member, and administrator at various universities in the southwest and the midwest. I taught various course in theology, especially in my area of specialty which is moral theology. I have been the Vocation Director for the Province of Saint John the Baptist since 2003.

I haven't gotten lost; just been busy

While visiting in Houston this weekend, Fr. Page, the friar I stay with when in the area, reminded me that I have not posted on this blog since my last trip to Houston a few weeks ago. I guess I didn't realize it has been that long, but it has.

Well, the trip down and back this time was certainly less eventful than the last. No big weather storms. Unless you count the rain and cold we're having here in Cincinnati this evening. It's suppose to get below freezing and we may have some snow showers. :-(

Anyway, the Vocation Office has been very busy. We have had a lot of contacts to work with. AND I'm getting ready to go to Rome and Assisi nest week for the 800th Anniversary celebration of the Franciscan way of life. I'll take my camera and computer and hopefully will post a few times during the trip.

Right now I want to wish everyone a very Blessed Holy Week and Easter.
