Friar Don Miller. OFM
I am a Franciscan priest. I spent my early years of ministry in New Mexico working among the Pueblo Native Americans and the Hispanics. In 1978 I began my years in academics working as a chaplain, faculty member, and administrator at various universities in the southwest and the midwest. I taught various course in theology, especially in my area of specialty which is moral theology. I have been the Vocation Director for the Province of Saint John the Baptist since 2003.

"Male Spirituality and Sexuality Workshop

ClassroomUno_game_two Again this year I am offering a workshop in Male Spirituality and Sexuality to our postulants along with the postulants from three other Franciscan provinces and from one province each from the Conventuals and Capuchins. There are sixteen postulants in all and four Postulant Directors attending. The upper left picture is a shot in our classroom and on the right we see Fr. Carl Langenderfer, O.F.M., Director of Postulants for our province, playing UNO with some of the postulants.

Dan_martin_and_michaelJust before watching and discussing a movie this evening, Dan Helfrich, one of our postulants, found a moment to do a little reading. The week has been very busy beginning Tuesday evening and running morning, afternoon, and evening the past two days. We will finish up Friday by lunch.
