Friar Don Miller. OFM
I am a Franciscan priest. I spent my early years of ministry in New Mexico working among the Pueblo Native Americans and the Hispanics. In 1978 I began my years in academics working as a chaplain, faculty member, and administrator at various universities in the southwest and the midwest. I taught various course in theology, especially in my area of specialty which is moral theology. I have been the Vocation Director for the Province of Saint John the Baptist since 2003.

An attempt to make comments more visible

I have been thinking that the comments on this page have been a little hard to find, and therefore hard to respond to. So, in an attempt to rectify that situation, I am going to try something. I will copy each comment over into a new post and identify it by a different colored title.

So the first comment in the new style comes from Ben who writes:

"It's been a long time since I posted a comment. School started Wednesday and I've been a little busy, but any way my congrads. to the friars making their solemn Professions."

The photo of Murray Bodo and Richard Goodin has got to be the best witness for OFM fraternity! "When necessary use words." No words necessary here, just two brothers celebrating before and in the Creator! Wow! I can't help but always notice the joy, the fraternal spirit that leaps from every picture and every story... I am renewed in spirit every time I visit the SJB site. What a great witness to Gospel living and what a great tribute to the Poverello!
